It will take around 60 minutes.

Will you remind me the day before my appointment?

Yes. If we have the correct mobile number, we'll send you a text message with a reminder of your appointment window.

Can I change my appointment?

Once you have booked your appointment, if you've given us a correct email address, you will be sent your confirmation email. This includes a link to manage your booking.

Where is my technician?

Your technician should arrive within your chosen appointment slot.

This can be found in your confirmation email and in the text messages we send you. If we have the correct mobile number, we'll aim to send you a text message with a narrower timeslot the day before your appointment.

Your technician will also let you know when they're on their way.

How soon can I drive away after my appointment?

It can vary depending on whether you need a windscreen repair or replacement.

You can drive away immediately after a windscreen chip repair has been completed. For glass replacements, we recommend that you do not drive your vehicle for 30 minutes after the work has been completed.

If any additional time is required, we will let you know on the day of your appointment.

Can you help clear any broken glass from my vehicle?

Yes. This usually happens when a side window or rear window is damaged due to the type of glass that is being used.

During your appointment, we'll clear any visible broken glass before completing the work.

What type of glass do you use for windscreen replacements?

For every replacement, we use glass that matches the specification of the original and is just as good.

Can my car fail its MOT because of the windscreen?

Yes. Visibility through your windscreen is an important factor when it comes to your vehicle being roadworthy. An MOT takes this into consideration and even a small chip could affect this.

That's why, we strongly recommend getting your glass fixed as soon as possible. Read more about MOT windscreen rules and regulations.

Can I buy new windscreen wipers?

Yes. We offer premium Bosch front windscreen and rear wiper blades to all of our customers that book with us. You can also buy new wiper blades when you book online with us.

Is the work covered by a guarantee?

Yes, absolutely.

Any repair or replacement – as well as the parts and workmanship – is guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. This is subject to the limits of our guarantee.

Things to remember

Before your technician arrives:

  • Please try and park your vehicle with enough space to fully open both front doors.
  • For repairs, it's recommended to keep the windscreen covered and/or away from sunlight before we arrive.
  • Please remove any roof bars if you are having a windscreen, rear window or sunroof replaced
  • The owner of the vehicle or a representative over the age of 18 will need to provide access to the vehicle, and sign for our work when completed.
  • If your vehicle is parked in a height restricted area, please note that we need at least 2.5 metres of height for our vans to fit through.
  • If your local area is experiencing really poor weather conditions, we may not be able to carry out the work. If this happens, we will contact you to rearrange your appointment.
