Managing Director
Nigel was appointed managing director of Autoglass® in April 2003.
Prior to that, he was operations director - a post he had occupied since joining Autoglass® in 1999. During his time as operations director, Nigel reorganized operations and was responsible for initiating the Autoglass® mobile service.
Between 1995 and 1999 prior to joining Autoglass®, Nigel was regional director of Moto Services.
Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at Mobil Oil in retail management, planning and regional management roles.
Nigel graduated with a degree in Music from Oxford University.
Finance Director
Neil joined the company in June 2005 as finance director, with responsibility for the accounts, customer accounts, internal audit, property departments and IT.
Earlier in his career, Neil held a number of financial positions within Heywood Williams and Courtaulds Textiles. He then joined Plumbs, the privately-owned, soft-furnishings company, first as finance director and then most recently as managing director.
Neil graduated from Sheffield University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Sheffield.
HR Director
Carol joined Autoglass® in January 1997 in the newly created role of human resources director. In this role she is responsible for the development and implementation of the company HR strategy, working through a professional team covering all aspects of people management.
She started her career at Ford Motor Company and subsequently worked for Xerox Corporation in the UK. Before joining Autoglass® she held a variety of roles in the retail sector.
Carol has a BA in History from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from London University.
Operations Director
Nick Henwood joined Autoglass® in September 2007 as Operations Director.
In this role, he is responsible for the delivery of a consistent world-class service to each and every customer. This includes heading up the company’s contact centre as well as responsibility for branch and mobile operations throughout the UK.
Nick brings a wealth of retail experience having previously held field and central office operation roles at Marks & Spencer and more recently at Sainsbury, where he was the regional operations director responsible for 15 large store locations in the South East.
Marketing Director
David joined Autoglass® from easyJet in 2006 and was appointed Marketing Director in December 2008.
He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry holding various EMEA roles managing brands including Piriton, Sensodyne and Poligrip. In 2001 he joined Go, the low cost airline (owned by British Airways) as International Brand Manager. When Go was acquired by easyJet, David became Marketing Services Manager. He was subsequently promoted to the role of Brand & Marketing Manager in 2004, becoming the youngest senior manager at easyJet.
David has an Honours Degree in Business & Administration and a Masters in Marketing and Commercial Management. In 2006 Marketing magazine named him as one of the UK's next generation of marketing leaders. David is a director of the JICRIT Board representing ISBA, “The Voice of British Advertisers”.
Sales Director
André joined Autoglass® as Sales Director in November 2009. In this role he leads the account management and sales teams and is responsible for further developing the service that Autoglass® delivers to its insurance and fleet customers.
His appointment follows a successful career as Sales Director for O’Brien Glass in Sydney, Australia. During his time with O’Brien Glass, he was responsible for the sales team and key account management across both the building and automotive glass businesses. He also oversaw the customer contact centre.
Earlier in his career, André held a range of sales and marketing positions for companies including Coca Cola and Telecom New Zealand.
Initially from New Zealand, André has a Commerce Degree in Marketing from Auckland University.
